An Act of Sacrifice- Gift of Love

Would you have enough inside you to place your baby that you've carried for 9 months in the arms of an adoptive mom? The courage of Chrissy (name changed) has changed my life!
The labor was intense, the baby got stuck in the birth canal and needed to be helped along, the pain was more than she could've ever imagined and yet, she courageously placed the new life in the arms of the adoptive parents. The adoptive parents shed tears of joy and immense gratitude when they heard the news...."you have a little girl"! The new daddy watched over his little girl as the doctor checked her out, already guarding her. Her new mommy said, "How do you ever thank Chrissy for the gift she's given us?" They stated their thanks to her in the best way they could, but they felt any expression was just not enough!
Chrissy never held her baby because she wanted her to bond with her adoptive parents. I could tell that this was hard for her at times, her arms aching to hold and love the child she had given life.
